Bevagna’s Gaite (pronounced guy-tay) is now actually two festivals. A fabulous weekend in April and the traditional June week-and-a-half long celebration of the town’s medieval past. During both festivals, the town transforms itself into a marketplace of arts and crafts stalls, specialty eateries, musical events, and medieval reenactments. In addition to the food stalls and many restaurants, there are also several themed eating spots organized by local civic groups to enjoy.
